It was another successful Rodeo Roundup! This year organizers changed things up & decided on a friendly cooking competition. Media personalities teamed up with a charity of their choice to whip up a BBQ side dish & cocktail or mocktail.

This is what we came up with.

Creamy Cheesy Corn Grits with a refreshing mojito to wash it down (pictured below).

Here are the rules we were given:- Dish must include 10 ingredients or less.- Each team has 30 mins to cook & present their dish.*Organizers threw us a curve ball when we were given a Dr. Pepper to incorporate into the dish.

It took the judges about 30mins to get through all the entries before they announced the winners.

The contest didn't end with the friendly cook-off competition. We were then sent in a scavenger hunt throughout the fair grounds. It was a blast.
