Rita will serve as MC for the 5th Annual Mental Health Awareness 5K.

Rita will be judging a hurricane kit chef's challenge. Chefs will prepare dishes using only ingredients found in everyday hurricane kits.

Rita was the MC for the 2015 NHPO Leadership Awards Ball.

Rita hosted the 1st Annual DYNA Music Group Block Party for Health and Wellness sponsored by Memorial Herman.

For the third year in a row, Rita will be representing KRIV FOX 26 at the Annual Star of Hope sponsored fashion show.

Rita will emcee at Discovery Green beginning at 9AM May 2, 2015. Organizers will feature stroke and brain education, health screening and participants will have the opportunity for Question and Answer sessions with physicians.

The Texas Taste Teaser - get ready to be STUFFED with different types of cuisines at the first annual Texas Taste Teaser hosted by the University of Texas School of Dentistry April 16, 2015.

Rita will be a celebrity judge tasting over 20 dishes cooked up by professionals and celebrity chefs from the Houston area.

KnowAutism Houston is a new organization in the Houston area that was started by a mothers belief that finding help for autistic children should not be difficult. It was founded to increase awareness, and provide educational & financial resources for families. 1 in 68 children are affected by autism and over 3.5 million people are living with autism in the United States.

Rita emceed the first gala, and with more than 400 in attendance the organization was able to raise over a quarter of a million dollars. The money will go towards families who need financial assistance to afford proper care for their autistic children.
